What apps will work on iOS 10?

I am using iOS 8 and was going to upgrade to iOS 9 but was worried that some game apps may not work on it. Now I am not sure if I should upgrade to iOS 10. I can't find nothing about what apps may or may not work with 10. One app I have states on the app in the App Store "is not comparable with iOS 9" so I assume this would include 10. So my question is... is this a valid issue or will my apps work with iOS 10?

Almost all apps work on 10.

If they don't work upon upgrading, most likely they will be upgraded soon by the developer to work with IOS 10.
