Hi, I am a newish iPad Air 2 user and a bit of an old fogey. I would appreciate your hints on tightening up security. I like forum games and cute pictures of cats as much as anyone else, but I mostly use my iPad to stay in touch with my son, who is deployed in the Middle East.

    Thank you in advance

IOS is generally very secure because it's a closed source platform, its almost impossible to get a virus. Some websites do install whats called "cookies" onto your device to track you around the internet for advertising perposes, try using a VPN such as the Opera VPN from the app store that blocked sites from installing these trackers onto your device.
