What do people share when using the same iCloud address?

If you share the same iCloud address what else are you sharing? On my husbands work phone, they share the same email address but there's calls on there that I'm questioning if he has made or if it was made by someone else will it show on his phone still.

A lot. Messages, iCloud storage space, etc. You should have separate ID. If you want to share iTunes purchases, you can share the same iTunes ID. But iCloud, iMessage and Facetime ID's should be your own.
Not sure about the work phones.

I'd keep work totally separated from a personal device... but that's just me...
