should i buy the new 2016 macbook pro 15inch

My 2008 17inch mbp is finally to slow & now I'm not sure if I should buy new. If I buy the 15inch mbp I know I'll have that forever too, but for almost the same price I can get a refurb 27inch imac & a refurb 12inch ipad pro. I'm an artist(not professional) & will be using photoshop which I'm just learning.

Since this is going to be your main device, I would get the Pro. It's portable & is a full computer, plus you'll get a ton of years out of it.
