transfer issues from mph one to iPhoto

My iphone is unable to download pictures to my iPhoto on my apple computer. This just recently occurred .

iPhoto says I need to enter passcode on the phone, I do, then ok on the phone for this computer.

Won't down load.

Are they no longer compatible?

Welcome to iMore,

The first time you connect it asks if you can trust the computer your connected to in order to be able to acces the phone. Odd that it still doesn't worked if you said ok.

As an alternative, do you use iCloud photos? Then you won't need to plug it in.
