Why isn't my Fitbit app working on my iPhone SE

Every time I try to open app it isn't updating data for steps taken and closes every time I try to click on a new challenge. With my health I love my Fitbit and it helps me & my docs track my progress good days & bad. All the updates seem to be making things worse.

I would uninstall it and then reinstall it. Have you tried that? Or restart your iPhone and then open the app again. Every so often, I have an app that will crash on me. Restarting my device usually fixes the problem.
