I do not want to enter the passcode every time I want to look at the markets

Before update 10.1.1 all I had to do was swipe the bottom of the screen to open the phone screen and then press the app to see the markets. Now I have to enter the 4 number pass code

I'm going to assume you're referring to the lock screen passcode. If so, enter the lock screen passcode to get to your home screen. From there, go to Settings → TouchID & Passcode, enter the lock screen passcode again, and then select "Turn Passcode Off".

What phone do you have? 5s on up you can use your fingerprint, which is quite a bit faster yet provides security of the passcode.
