Why is my watch screen locked with a green line in the top right had corner

I am able to view a screen showing the time and weather at my location and the screen to enter the pass code. I can also view the screen to power off or make emergency calls but I am not able to use any of them. The green line appears on all screens.
Can anyone help?

Seems like a broken hardware. A green line should definitely not appear…

Try a hard reset. Hold the power and crown buttons till you see the  logo. Then wait for it to finish. If that doesn't work, then make Genius appointment to have your watch assessed.
