My phone is stuck on the instagram app

My iPhone 6 is stuck on the Instagram app. It won't let me get off of it. I can't restart my phone because the home button is broken. If I close my phone it turns black and won't come back on. I tried getting people to call me and it doesn't even show that anyone called or texted. What do I do??

You can try to turn it off. You don't need a home button to do that.

Press and Hold the power button for few seconds untilll you see Apple logo, then release it.

If your home button is broken, and if you can get to your settings, you can enable Assistive Touch to act like a home button:

did you find out how to fix this because my phone is having the exact same problem and i cant get it to work
