Voice and video delay using Facetime and Apple Play and way around it?

iPhone Call via Facetime, Apple Play to connect to TV. Voice comes in very choppy and hard to understand. Video is better but not continuous.. any way to fix it?

This is likely due to your internet speed. You are using internet bandwidth to make the call itself, so think of that as "streaming" and then you are using more bandwidth to "stream" the call to your tv on top of that. So increasing your maximum bandwidth with your IP is likely the best solution. Additionally, sometimes purchasing a higher quality router will help. If you don't want to spend more money on these things, try repositioning your router as close as possible to the area where you will be using AirPlay to FaceTime on your tv. In the end, there is no guarantee that it will be 100% perfect because AirPlay has had its issues since the start (especially with gaming).
