iphone5 - I usually use earbuds for my workphone. Now I can't hear calls without them.

The call connects, but neither party can hear. If I plug the earbuds in, the volume/sound is restored. I've searched settings without luck.

You likely have a hardware issue with the phone...refer to qualified service personnel...
