I have updated the iOS of the phone and cannot be activated as of the moment as it requires a valid SIM from its carrier. How do I deal with this problem? I have several questions which I hope you could answer:
? How much is it to unlock the phone if the contract has already expired and as I live in other country?
? In case I don?t have enough money to unlock the phone, is it possible to purchase a SIM from your company without necessarily renewing the expired contract? For your first question: It depends on the carrier. Your best bet would be to contact them.

Second question: It is. You can buy a SIM card from the carrier the phone is locked to and not activate it. It will work.
