This depends on your email provider, not the iPhone. If you're using Yahoo! Mail, switch to Gmail or Outlook for better spam protection. Gmail has the best spam filters, but Outlook.com allows you to block email domains and emails from EVER touching your Inbox.

Additionally you can help "train" your provider by moving emails from your inbox to the spam folder. Once a few have been moved usually your provider gets it. To move a message swipe it left, select More, then select Move, then move to Spam.

This doesn't seem to be working for Outlook.com. I move spam emails to Junk and they keep coming. Help!

Outlook has some advanced filtering options, maybe they can help? You might be best setting these from a PC or Mac NOT from a mobile device, BUT here's a microsoft help page that explains a bit.....

Yes. On Gmail, all my spam goes to the Junk folder.
