watch AMC on my apple TV.

i downloaded the AMC app from my macbook and turned on home sharing and still can't seem to find it on my apple tv

You'd need to download the app from the AppStore on the 4th generation AppleTV... Otherwise, the app on iPad or iPhone might support AirPlay from the iPad/iPhone to a 2nd or 3rd gen AppleTV.
