how do get a video to turn sideways when veiwing

When I am viewing a video in the up right position I what to turn my phone in the horizontal position the video does to turn with the phone on my iPhone 6s

Some videos are not viewable in landscape mode, but it also depends on the app you're viewing the video with. Typically, you'd make sure that the rotation lock isn't enabled and then turn the phone horizontally to view the video.

You need to disable the rotation lock in the control center in order to rotate the video in landscapes mode when it's playing.
