My previous game purchases are not showing

I have an iPad that I use to play games and have purchased many, when I tried to play one that I already bought I get a pop up window saying "no purchase shown"

Welcome to iMore! Go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores, then tap on your Apple ID, sign out, and sign back in. You should see all of your purchases in App Store > Purchased.
