How can I prevent Dock hiding important buttons in Nik photo software

When I use Nik software to edit my photos on my MacBook Pro, and open up Viveza from Adobe Lightroom, the dock obliterates the bottom few centimetre of the screen. Vicenza has some key buttons such as that which, having made adjustments actually saves my edited photo. This and other buttons are hidden behind the dock.

Go to your system preferences and hide the dock or move it to another area of the screen.
