How can I set up my own ring tone? I purchased it and it's not working. Thank you

I went to settings then ringtones then store , purchased a song I like thinking it will automatically appear in my ringtones in my settings, but there is not way to set it up as a ring tone , therefore I can only listen to then song separately. Does anyone know how I can set up my fav song as a ringtone? Thank you
