Why isn't my phone ringing

Since i got the update, my phone rings when it wants, i get all notifications, it does vibrate when it rings or the alarm goes off, am i just not doing something"somewhere?

Probably a no brainer, but have you tried restarting your phone? iPhone 6S and lower way hold power and home together until the apple logo appears then let go. iPhone 7/7+ way hold power and the volume down buttons together until the apple logo appears and then let go. Also try changing ringtones.
