what did I change to get rid of the sound on typing and alarm clock?

Unfortunately I cleaned out a bunch of stuff and now my typing won't click ( and yes the key for typing sound is on) and my alarm clock is also silent. So far these are the only ones, but I'll bet this is on more. What did I do? More important, what do I do to fix it?

What device?

For an iPhone, have you checked to make sure Do Not Disturb is OFF? Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to bring up the Control Center.
Have you checked the Mute switch?
