My new iphone 6 will not power back on after I turned it off

I cannot get my brand new iphone to power on after turning it off. I accidentially pushed for the download for the new version and I turned off my phone to stop the download. Now when I try and power my phone back up, I am getting a picture of a cord and the itunes symbol on the phone. Please help

Well, if you're seeing those things then the iPhone is indeed powering on. Anyway, all you have to do is connect your iPhone to your computer, initiate the computer's iTunes app, and then when iTunes recognizes your device in recovery, select to restore it.
