Foreign language fonts Arabic Hebrew) not bold after OS 10. Help !

Since downloading OS 10 my foreign language fonts are not in bold despite enabling bold in settings. This is for languages such as Arabic and Hebrew. In English my fonts continue to be bold. I need this to see better. Help !
