Contacts on iOS10

Hey guys!

When I open my contacts, there are so many names that I don't know how they got there. I tried to go to >>Groups and uncheck everything but Contacts but it didn't work. It happened before on iOS 9 I did the steps above and it worked.
Is there any other way I delete those names? I tried to delete them one by one but there is so many entries is ridiculous. Thanks

Do you maybe have your Facebook enabled for contact sync?
