iPhone upgrade program

Hello,
I'm interested in the Apple iPhone upgrade program, even though I hear iPhones will be released on a 2-3 year schedule, might not be worth it. But, my question is, if I got the plus version, and after a week using it in real life, it is indeed to big, can I switch to the regular version?
