Very straight forward question that shall I upgrade my iPhone 5s to iOS 10 keeping performance and battery backup in mind ?

One more thing I'd like to know that if the GM release is identical to the final release then why there is a difference in the sizes of both?
GM was 1.6 GB whereas final is 1 GB

Anyone using iPhone 5s please help me out.

Though not using a 5S, I definitely feel that iOS 10 is a go on any compatible device. I'm really enjoying the changes and have seen no battery degradation with my 6S Plus.

    Re: GM vs "Final"
I had the GM and have not gotten and update pushed to me so I'm going to assume they're the same. I can't speak to the difference in size between 1 and 1.6GB however. I think comparing build number between GM and final is a better indication of their similarities.

I updated my iPhone 5S too and I am enjoying but it seems a bit laggy, call quality is not good as it was use to in iOS 9.3.5. Rest it's like new phone

Interesting. Neither of my kids have complained about that. I'll have to ask them. They usually report that type of thing to me.

Khizer wait 2/3 days you have many backround process after upgrading. Thats normal and in case of order hardware can be cause of lags.

Yes I think the older device is the root cause but apps are now opening a bit slower rest I am enjoying it

My 5s is a little laggy after updating but in general I like the features of iOS 10 that I wouldn't downgrade to 9.3.5
