    Default Still asking... how to delete gmail emails in one swipe on my new iphone SE.

    On my iphone 4, it was one swipe to the left, gave discard option. On the new SE swiping left gives "more, flag, archive" options. More = reply all, forward, mark, notify, move. Swiping right gives only "read or unread" If this is how it works it really is annoying and cumbersome. One swipe worked so much better.
    Plus the download now says I have 420 emails. Yay from like all month. What a pain.

    Yea it's buried in the advanced settings. Here's a blog with pictures. It's for iOS 7 but 9 and up are VERY similar.....

    Maybe check your setting for the email account on your phone? I only know of one that says what action to take on delete: archive of delete. But there might be something also to specify the behaviour your have.
