Is there a way to move photos from an iOS device to iCloud Storage (not iCloud Photos)?

I have been digging for a way to do this and have not been able to figure out a way to move my photos from my iOS devices directly into an iCloud Storage folder. At this point I have to use my Mac to transfer the photos from either my iPhone or iPad and move them into the iCloud folder I want them in (I have all of my photos organized within iCloud Storage because I do not like the way iCloud Photos works). Looking for a way to be able to do it with out having to use a Mac or PC.

I don't believe there is another way. From what I know, pics always go in to iCloud photos.

When you state "iCloud Storage", do you mean "iCloud Drive"?

Figured out a way to do it last night. You have to browse to the icloud website on the iOS device then request the desktop version of it. Once your on the desktop version you can log in and can then hit the upload icon and it will allow you to upload any photos or videos that you have saved on the device.
