iPhone 4 wont sync music and apps using iTunes!

Recently deleted all content and settings to make room etc. In itunes all apps wanted are clicked to will install on phone's setting(having clicked my phone icon) sync occurs, says preparing to copy and then ends with out transfering updating etc.
Phone version 7.1.2 iTunes V12.4.3.1 6 gig on phone available

Possibly a compatibility issue between iTunes and the iOS version you are on? Unfortunately I don't think you can fix it. That being said, you should be able to re-download all your apps from the app store and all of your purchased music from the music store right on your device.

Before you give up reboot both the iPhone and the computer (PC/Mac).

I also had similar problems with the latest iTunes releases and my old iPhone 4. Apart from restarting both devices (pc and iPhone), I also advise, before renouncing, to try a restore of your iPhone (be sure to create a fresh backup through iTunes, so you can restore it from there)
