why won't my iphone won't deliver texts unless its only a couple of lines ?

I was trying to send a text to a particular friend but it kept coming back undelivered. I then send a new short text which was delivered. I then copied and pasted the large text to re-send but it came back undelivered again?

That sounds like a carrier issue. Call your carrier and talk to them about it and see if there is anything they can do on their end. In the mean time, you can try a hard reset which involves holding both the power button and home button together until the screen turns off and the Apple logo appears.

What kind of phone are you sending the text to?
Does this "large text" contain an characters that are not supported by SMS?
