    Default Should I turn off my Ipod 8 off after every use

    I had a Generation 6 Ipod and turned if off after every use & now the on offf switch won't work. I bought a Generation 8 Ipod and want to know the reccomendations for
    the power switch.

    Always a good question! I would say NOT to keep turning it off, modern devices go in to extreme power saving mode when not in use so the power saving turning it off is really not that great, PLUS you expend a good bit of power for the start up and shut down process itself. Additionally as you pointed out wear and tear on the button!
