Choosing country during iphone set-up

Will choosing my country/region (UK) during the set-up prevent me from inserting a US sim later on? I need my phone in the USA and I need it to work there without jumping through all kinds of loops....! Thanks.

No. It will not prevent you from inserting a U.S. SIM.
