if "reset all settings" will it clear passcode on iphone 6?

I want to clear passcode as it accepted one that had a mistake and I can't enter it but I noticed before I signed out so still in phone and set to never auto close. Want to clear old passcode but can't reenter the passcode so wondering if reset all settings would do it?

It won't clear the passcode on the phone. In fact, I believe it will ask for the passcode before you can perform the restore. The only way to clear the passcode if you don't know what it is would be to perform a restore through iTunes. In which case you'll need the Apple ID information.
