Private areas Pokemon go

II drove past a hotel resort that had like 8 poke stops and I couldn't get in cause there was a gate and u needed to be a guest. Can I ask to go into private places like that to get the spots?

Yes, you can ask, but that doesn't mean you'll be given free access.

If it's private, it's private for a reason. As D said you can ask but probably just move on to another spot.

I've driven past more places just because. Not worth the hassle. We have fun playing but will do it safely and legally.
