    If my iPhone is connected to wifi and my iPod is connect to my iPhone hot spot what data will be used though my iPod? My cellular data or the wifi my phone is connected to?

    Additionally your iPod DOES have the ability to connect directly to Wi_Fi why on earth would you want to piggyback on to the iPhone first?
