Changing from iphone 5 to iphone 6, what are steps so that I can have all my information from the iphone 5 to my iphone 6

Use iTunes or iCloud and back up your device. If you are using iTunes make sure to select the encrypted backup so all your information is backed up. Then restore the new phone and when setting it up select restore from backup (choose the option of how you backed it up)

It will ask you for your Apple ID password a few times and it will restore.
