Where do you go to retrieve text that's been copied to the clipboard?

I have an iPhone. 6 and don't know where the clipboard is

You can't "see" what's on the clipboard. But just go to an app where you normal would type (Messages, Mail, Notes, etc) and press and hold and select "Paste".

The clipboard is built-in so whatever app you're in, just tap on the screen and then select "paste".
