can you drag and drop an image on the iPad pro..like from fb to the desktop so to speak?

on my macbook..I can grab any image from the web and drag it and drop it to my desktop..formt there I can use it..in iPhoto, or drop it into a conversation on fb or an email...can this be done with the new iPad pro?

No, but you can tap and hold on the image and then select "save image". That'll save the image to the camera roll/Photos app.
