Does iOS 10 still use the "Parallax" effect on background?

Hello, I was just wondering if in the 1st iOS 10 beta if apple kept the (IMO) annoying parallax effect? Or if you disabled it does it render animations super slow?

Hi, welcome to iMore.

Parallax effect still exists in iOS 10.
However, you don't have to disable animations in order to disable parallax. Simply zoom out in the background picture or homescreen picture in settings and parallax gets disabled. There is even an option to disable it with the click of a button.
Simply hit 'Still' and you're all set.

Setting the background to still will the background from however apps will still move around on the screen. Reduce motion will make the app icons still.
