Time Machine won't restore

I upgraded OS to Yosemiti on my i mac recently and although Time Machine restored everything back into my system from my external hard drive, Adobe Suite CS4 will no longer open and Time Machine will no longer restore anything further back than five months. My hard drive was partitioned with me knowing and have no idea if I can un-partition it. I need to go back into the hard drive to find the installers to try and install CS4 again to see if I can make it open. Would appreciate help please. Thank you Victoria.
