My Mac Book Air won't let me click on anything in safari. How can I fix that?

When I open up the Safari App on my Mac Book Air, I usually go to the search bar and click on my saved links. The saved links will open up but I can't seem to click on anything in that saved link. For example, I have Facebook and can't click to like a post because my Mac will freeze. I don't know if I should go into the Apple Store to see what they can do or I could be able to fix it myself.

Welcome to iMore! Have you tried deleting your browser history in Safari? There may be some rogue data slowing things down. If you're still having an issue I recommend contacting Apple Support or going to an Apple Store so they can properly diagnose the problem.
