when I listen to a podcast on my Iphone 6plus I get a message that says "this episode is temporarily unavailable". why does that happen, especially when I didn't have a problem the last time I listened?

If you're unable to listen to a certain podcast, there's probably a problem at the source. When the problem gets fixed, you'll more than likely be able to listen to it.
