How can I restore my Contacts to my Mac desktop?

I was trying to set up a "group" email list & clicked on "add a group" or "new group" (not sure which it was). A blank window came up for my contacts & now I don't have any of my contacts at all! Help??

Unless you've deleted them, your contacts should still be available to you on your Mac. Select the Groups option within the Contacts app, and then select everything listed therein.
