Are MacBooks too slippery?

I'm planning on buying a MacBook and wondering if the slippery aluminum casing will cause it to slip from my hands?

I have a MacBook Air and have never felt that it was too slippy, though I do grip it tightly when carrying it about, it's a lot of money to drop, if I take it out doors I have a bag with shoulder strap.

I have had an aluminum MBP since 2010. Never dropped it yet. It comes down to being careful. You have posted a lot of questions as of recent about the MacBook. If you are looking for a great laptop, then the MacBook is a great choice. Go for it.

I have a 2015 15" rMBP and it doesn't feel slippery. It would be heavier than the rMB too.

I don't think it is but I definitely recommend a slip cover for when you are out and about with it. iPearl makes some attractive hard cases as well though that is not really my thing.
