Retrieving candy crush through game centre account

[iMore Question]

I have been playing candy crush through game centre, not through facebook. I have had to replace my ipad as my old one is totally dead. How i can load candy crush on to my new ipad without having to start at level 1 again - i was on level 950 +.

Welcome to iMore! Do you have it in an iTunes back up? It may be in an iCloud back up as well. Not sure. If it's not backed up, you're probably out of luck.
That game has 950+ levels? SMH!
