Hello,

I don't have a bank card as of yet, so I use my moms debit card, and give her the money each month for Apple Music and iCloud storage. Apple keeps naming me my mothers name, even though my email has my name. Why does Apple do that? Even though I use her card, am I not able to have my name as my Apple ID name? There was never a problem on Windows phone or Android, so I'm hoping it could be fixed.

Where does Apple use your mom's name? Whose name is your Apple ID in? Whose name does it show in your contacts as being "me"?. I imagine it's because she's the card holder for purchases. The responsible person.

It's just on anything iCloud they have the name as my moms, but everything else is my name. But when they send a message to my iCloud email, it's in her name, the iCloud settings have her name instead, but contacts are my name. They just started this recently.

I'm physically disabled, so I haven't been able to get a card yet, so I just pay for everything cash, and then pay my mom on the due dates for Apple Music, and the extra iCloud storage.
