Welcome to iMore! You will have to restore the phone. Connect to iTunes. Put it in DFU mode and restore. You will lose all the phone's data, including photos. There's no other way, unless she can remember the passcode.

After the restore, you will need the Apple ID and password to set the phone up. If you don't have that either, then you're out of luck.
