Good live widgets "app" for the ipad - i.e. a "what's happening" app with real time updates

Surprised this doesn't exist but haven't found it so far. Want to use my ipad as a "what's happening dashboard" - possibly an app that let's manage a bunch of widgets in it. I.e. I'd like stock market, news ticker, weather, maybe twitter, facebook. But want live updating so can just glance at it without having to refresh. Does it exist?!

With the exception of news, doesn't the native Notification screen widget do what you're asking?

A bit, but want it all on once screen - need to scroll around in the today screen.
