How do i change my apple id password? I fear i may have been hacked

I fear i may have been hacked and i need to change my apple password, not my id

I went through this a couple of weeks ago, but I also changed my email (username) and that's where I ran into difficulty! My issue was that I couldn't remember the answers to my security questions. I knew them but not how I entered them (lower/upper case, punctuation etc.). I ended up calling Apple Support, and they helped me alot!
