Recently, My friend have fallen under cheating buying iPhone 5s. So, what are the main points to identify the original apple iPhone?

Welcome to iMore! There is no 100% guarantee. Even if there's a real iPhone pictured on the internet it doesn't mean that's the one you're actually going to receive.
The best advice I can give you is to buy it from an official source (apple.com, a major retailer, etc.). Otherwise, buyer beware!

Another idea is to look in Settings -> General -> About and look at the IMEI

It should match the box it is coming with (if it has a box) as well as on the inside of the SIM tray.

Still, the best advice of all, if possible, is just what @DevilishBanker said and buy from a legit Apple reseller.

Is IMEI number is the solution for that ?

It's going to be unique to the phone. The key is the SIM tray would be difficult to print on and counterfeit, so if your tray has no IMEI number on it or doesn't match, there's a higher likelihood it's a fake. Not guaranteed it's fake, of course, there's always an exception. But it's something to look for.
