40% of my screen is black, How can I restore it?

The problem started with lies in the same area(right side of screen). After two weeks it turned black. I can't read messages or see pictures.

Try a soft reset that sometimes helps

Sounds like a hardware issue. I recommend taking it to the Apple store and let the people at the Genius Bar take a look, or an authorized Apple repair shop.
